SIGNATURE ST250
NorStone Signature PR250 is a high-end cable designed for the most demanding audio systems. Its unique STAR structure of 19 concentric OCC-6N and OFC-4N pure copper conductors (2.5 mm²), combined with sophisticated triple shielding (polyethylene, cotton fiber and aluminum mylar foil), guarantees perfect interference isolation and micro-vibration attenuation.
This construction optimizes transmission across the entire bandwidth, particularly at high frequencies, delivering a realistic, airy soundstage with excellent instrument separation. 24k gold-plated banana connectors, featuring the Lock In System, ensure optimum, secure connection.
STRUCTURE STAR
TECHNOLOGY FOR AUDIO PERFORMANCE
The STAR structure is an advanced technology used in cable design, based on the use of several concentric conductors arranged in a circle. Each cable consists of 19 copper wires braided in this specific configuration. This arrangement offers remarkable mechanical stability, enabling the cable to retain its shape and properties even after repeated bending or twisting. It also reduces internal vibrations, limiting wear and mechanical distortion over time.
On the electrical side, the STAR structure ensures even distribution of signal flow between conductors. The NorStone PR250 speaker cable is designed for high-quality Hi-Fi and home cinema installations. With a cross-section of 2 x 2.5 mm², it guarantees optimum signal transfer, even over long distances. Its star-shaped geometry, made up of 19 concentric conductors in 99.99% pure OFC copper, ensures precise, transparent sound transmission, while the deoxygenated copper, selected for its high homogeneity, reduces distortion and preserves audio detail.
Embedded in a stable polyethylene sheath, the PR250 optimizes high-frequency reproduction and respects upper harmonics, while remaining discreet thanks to its transparent flexible sheath.

Silver plating on cable conductors offers several notable technical advantages that improve sound quality.
Improved conductivity: Silver is one of the best electrical conductors among metals, second only to gold. When a cable is silver-plated, it enables more efficient signal transfer by reducing conductor resistance. This means that the audio signal travels with less energy loss, contributing to more faithful sound reproduction.
Reduced signal loss: because of its superior conductivity, silver plating enables faster, more accurate signal transmission, especially at high frequencies. It minimizes losses due to resistance and ensures that the audio signal remains as pure as possible, with no noticeable alterations during transmission.
Reduced skin effect: At high frequencies, the skin effect causes electrons to move mainly at the surface of the conductor, which can introduce distortion and signal loss. Silver, due to its conductivity and physical properties, minimizes this effect compared to pure copper conductors. Thanks to their deoxygenated conductors, they limit internal interference, offering a more transparent and faithful listening experience. The shape of the sheath, available in round or rectangular versions, makes it easy to identify polarity, facilitating installation.
